Accessibility

Work towards eMAG 3.1 and WCAG 2.1 AA is in progress. This page describes implemented features.

Navigation shortcuts

Use the links at the start of the page or access keys: 1 for content, 2 for navigation, 3 for search and 4 for the footer. Modifiers depend on the browser: usually Alt in Chrome/Edge on Windows, Alt + Shift in Firefox on Windows, and Control + Option on macOS. Browser settings and assistive technology may change these combinations. You can also reach the links with Tab and activate them with Enter.

Use browser zoom controls (Ctrl + +/− on Windows or Command + +/− on macOS). Use Tab and Shift + Tab to move between controls, Enter for links, and Enter or Space for buttons. Escape closes the mobile menu.

High contrast

High contrast uses a black background, white text and underlined yellow links. Your preference is saved in this browser when local storage is available. Press again to restore the colors.

Brazilian Sign Language translation (VLibras)

The button in the bottom-left corner opens the Brazilian government’s official Brazilian Sign Language (Libras) translator. It automatically translates the Portuguese text shown on screen; content in other languages, images, and PDF documents are not translated. VLibras is a complementary, government-maintained resource and requires an internet connection to work.
